| October 11, 2019 -- We had a busy summer. We created a very informative exhibit for the Woodstock Fair. Thanks to the help of our new members as well as a potential new member. This exhibit included Killingly Grange. We then held our annual Grange fair on Sat. Sept. 14. We had many exhibitors. It was very successful and we had 100 exhibits. Thanks to all who exhibited. We had exhibits in many categories including many vegetables and handcrafts. This is certainly a big help to our public relations. We will be having an informational display that was created by an interested local lady available to the public at various farm stands in our area. Several members would be part of the Celebrating Ag event to help promote agriculture here in The Last Green Valley. We continue to collect food for distribution to those who are in need. Our meeting are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 2:30PM . We welcome any visitors. Our October meeting will be on the 3rd Tuesday as we will be serving dinner to the annual meeting of the Windham County Farm Bureau on our regular meeting day.
