| September 2, 2019 -- Sept. 6: Here We Go Again
August saw Vernon Grange at our Annual Potluck Dinner, held at Strong Family Farm. It was a beautiful evening, with plenty of great food. We wrote postcards to deployed military members to thank them for their sacrifice and service which allows us the freedom to travel about our great country. We used postcards collected by Grangers and friends from all over the USA. We even had postcards sent to us by the Minnesota State Grange.
We enjoyed watermelon as we learned of its health benefits. As darkness slowly began to fall, we ended our evening turning our eyes to the southern sky trying to view Orion’s belt and the star of his dog Sirius as we learned to do as part of our Lecturer’s program.
In September we will set our goals for the upcoming Grange year, and think on the principles of our Order. We may have some surprises in store, so feel free to visit us!
