| June 7, 2019 -- At the regular May meeting we elected and filled all the chairs as required, and again had good attendance. All required reports to the State Grange have been filled. We again discussed our role regarding the town’s purchase of the Haddam Elementary School, A town-wide vote will be held on June 4th regarding the town’s purchasing of the property. We will support the farmer’s market by providing supplies and equipment which we presently have in storage. Our support of the town Sustainability Committee was again discussed. Since this committee supports the preservation and conservation of the town’s natural resources and programs to support such efforts, we feel it is an very important activity. Member Gail Reynolds is a member of this committee. We have to give time to planning our program and project activities for the rest of the year.
Our next meeting will be the first Friday in June at 7:00 PM All are welcomed.
