Prospect Grange once again was saddened with the loss of an officer. Our Chaplain was suddenly taken from us in January. Despite the loss of our Lecturer and Chaplain we are trying to survive.
A request from a Pee Wee League Team looking for a sponsor was brought to our meeting. As they are local students we decide to take on the task by purchasing them jerseys to start. Aslo we made a donation to a local bowling league for youth so they can compete in the Nationals in Washington, D.C.
We are now raising money to make a big donation to help build the Statue of Liberty Museum on Ellis Island. As many of our grandparents came through Ellis Island, we thought it would be a great way to honor our forefathers. A permanent plaque will be made with Prospect’s name on it as a builder/supporter.
