Around The Grange
December 2018 News from Cheshire Grange

By Ruel Miller

  DECEMBER 3, 2018 --

Cheshire Grange was well represented at the State Session in October.

Our Lecturer, Barbara Kulish received the Lecturer’s Appreciation Award as well the Honor Lecturer Award. We placed second in the Community Service Contest for Granges with membership of. over fifty. We received awards for supporting our troops and for services rendered to local nursing and rest homes. We had a financially successful project with the Cheshire Historical Society called Spirits Alive, a tour of the local cemetery. Our treasury was I enhanced with an early November roast beef dinner put on for a local hiking club. We will be ready in early December to pass out Christmas favors, made over this past year, to our shut in members and others.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
