Many thanks to Gail Lavielle and John Kriz for coordinating an informative Legislative Night with our 3 state legislators: Rep. Gail Lavielle, Rep. Tom O’Dea and Sen. Toni Boucher. Good questions raised by members of the audience; not sure they heard the answers they wanted to hear but a good conversation was had.

We are in the final planning stages for our 86th Annual Agricultural Fair which will be held on Sunday, August 26 from 10-4. We hope to see many Grange members come to the fair. There will be some new activities and some “tried and true” events at the fair. You’ll have to come to the fair and see what they are!

We have revamped and updated our hall rental program to be competitive with other venues in town for parties, events and business seminars and retreats. We owe much thanks to Dearta Fusaro for tackling this important issue.

When you access our website at www.cannongrange.org you’re going to see an entirely new format with greater functionality for the user. Loads of thanks to Michele Clark for spearheading migration to the Gmail platform for email, and document sharing for the new website platform.

Doug Shepherd has been busy this summer refinishing the floor in the hall so that it will soon be glistening like new. Thank you, Doug!

We remind everyone to support your local farmstand, as we all know: “No Farms = No Food.”
