| May 15, 2018 -- Colchester Grange #78 and Holy Trinity Ladies Philoptochos Society Agape Chapter in Norwich created a partnership to offer Easter Gifts to local veterans. We titled the program “Project of Hope.” Together we wanted to offer new hope as the winter months leave us and spring arrives (we hope). The two groups shopped and filled colorful buckets with many canned goods including a small ham so the Veterans could enjoy an Easter meal. The bucket also included candy, pastry and a $10 gift card to Walmart. We were very pleased as the 18 veterans come to the community room of the TALVI housing unit to pick up their gift. Each man was so pleased and held out their hands in appreciation.
We look forward to providing more special projects to the Veterans that live in the special housing facility for veterans.
