March 2018 News From Oxford Grange

March 2: Ready for Spring? 7:30 PM

March 16: Spring at Last! Pizza and Planning Party, 7:00 PM

March 30: G.O.M.A.D. Music and Dance, 7:00 PM

As winter continues, I have seen signs of work on the handicapped ramp progressing, as Selectman Jeff Haney has the time to give to the project. Over the winter, we have had furnace tune-up work done and plan to have installed a refurbished burner for the cost of the installation only thanks to Tom at Oxford Oil Co.

Come spring, work on the outside Graces Garden will continue thanks to Rays Hodgson. This space is really shaping up nicely. As this is written back in the closing days of January, plans are underway for “Green Gold 2.0,” a lecture and discussion series to occur from February into March. It follows last year’s program, and should be fascinating. Raye Hodgson and husband Randolph Brown, as well as Nancy Prior and husband Rich Wilber are planning this as I write. Nancy is studying currently for Master Gardener certification. Come on out and learn about plant growing!

Keep in mind April 21st, 6:00 PM for the Chili Cook- Off, and June 2, 6:00 PM for the Pizza Tasting and Judging Contest.
