Our 85th Anniversary Agricultural Fair enjoyed a day of perfect weather and eager crowd of attendees. Prize ribbons won by all in many categories ranging from: Bakery to Sewing to Flowers & Vegetables to Bunny Rabbits and our newest competition in Water-Color Painting. Over 125 pounds of canned and packaged food was collected at the gate for admission for donation to the local Interfaith Food Pantry. This forms part of our Community Service project for this year within the topical theme for all our programs: Healthy Living and Eating.

We welcome our newest member, John O’Reilly who joined as a result of our recent fair. Many thanks to all of our fair workers who put together our fair this year and headed up by the committee leaders: Doug and Sara Shepherd, Bil Mikulewicz and Michele Clark. Also, thanks and appreciation to Karen Tartell who gets up very early on Fair Day to take entries and process the Entry Forms and Exhibit Tags.

Our program theme for the new Grange Year is “Eating Well in order to Live Well”. All of our programs this year are designed to this topic, and many of the programs will be interactive and led by fascinating instructors. Please check our website often to see the topic title.

Visiting Patrons are always welcome -- won’t you join us?
