Around The Grange
Glastonbury adds 8 new members
JULY / AUGUST 2008 -- The members of Glastonbury knew that something had to be done and took the plunge into very unknown waters.  Rather than throw up their hands and resign themselves to the fact that their Grange was dying they organized a membership meeting.  Special invitations were sent out to people in the community telling them there would be a Grange informational meeting at the hall.  Fifteen people accepted the invitation.

The meeting began with a PowerPoint presentation by Kay Ruff and Jody Cameron giving all a feel for what Glastonbury Grange has to offer.  After the presentation, everyone went downstairs for a Roast Beef Dinner prepared by the Cameron family.

During dinner, each was presented an application and were encouraged to browse through it.  If interested, they were asked to fill it out and to stay for the obligation ceremony after dinner.  To the astonishment of the Grange members, 8 new members paid the application fee and received the obligation.
