Apr. 6: Business Meeting

Apr. 20: Special program on Jams, Jellies & Preserves by Pamela Lillis

May 4: Our 118th anniversary (to the day)

May 18: Business Meeting

March was a busy month at Cannon Grange! Each Wednesday morning and Evening, Bil Mikulewicz ran Tai Chi classes for two eager groups to learn the first 10 steps in this fascinating program of posture, balance and relaxation. It’s possible we may run another series in the fall, so stay tuned. But we owe a great deal of thanks to Bil for sharing his certification expertise in Tai Chi. Also in March was a fabulous evening of silent movies presented by John Mucci with 4 hilarious films of Laurel & Hardy.

Coming in April will be a program by our own Pamela Lillis, a certified nutritionist. Pam’s program will be a demonstration of making preserves, including a detailed listing of equipment and ingredients needed to make a successful batch. This is a public program, and we welcome fellow Patrons to join our community audience on April 20th.

Plans for our summertime Agricultural Fair have begun. Paid ads for our fair book have already started coming in, so we are off to a good start. We welcome our newest members to our Grange: Tina Georgeou and daughter Lauren, Carole Gilliam, and Kara Shepherd.

Please note our meeting and program schedule above. All programs start at 7 PM. Ample parking at the Grange Hall and across the crosswalk at the Cannondale Railroad Station. Visiting Patrons are always welcome--won’t you join us?
