Grange member Makenzie Bezio celebrated her 14th birthday party at the grange.
Chuck & Jen donated to the Grange, 2-antique, Connecticut made pewter candle holders. The candle holders were wrapped up and put up as a raffle for a $1 per guess and the amount of noodles in a jar. Grange member Janet had the closest guess and donated the mystery prize to the grange for the penny auction. Thank you, Chuck, Jen and Janet for your donation.
Donation cans have begun being placed at our entrance and Grange events for maintenance of the Beacon Grange #118 facility located at 670 Northfield Road, Route 254, Northfield CT 06778. Torrington Area Health District recently inspected Beacon Grange #118, kitchen. Beacon Grange #118 passed the Torrington Area Health District inspection with a an almost perfect score.
Granger Chuck Bezio was elected and installed as the new Overseer at the June 2016 meeting.
Beacon Grange #118 Community Outreach: Thank you for supporting the Beacon Grange to all the crafters, sponsors and contributors. Beacon Grange #118 is actively seeking donations from the local patrons & businesses.
Beacon Grange #118 Youth Initiative: Chuck & Dan Bezio are working on the goals in order to provide educational resources for the purpose and future direction of the Grange. We also would like to involve the next generation of Grangers in the direction, we as an organization, is heading.
