OCTOBER 2, 2015 -- Savor the flavors of fall when Eureka Grange hosts its Annual Pig Roast on Saturday, October 3rd.
A small town celebration of food, family, and fun, the Annual Pig Roast will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Eureka Grange Hall, 777 Litchfield Turnpike (Route 202), in the Nepaug section of New Hartford. The meal is buffet style, featuring all the trimmings including baked potato, macaroni salad, tossed salad, hot vegetables, rolls and butter and a beverage, as well as a selection of homemade desserts. The price is $14.00 for adults, with a reduced rate for children. Tickets are available at the door.
All funds raised will benefit the Eureka Grange Building Fund, as well as their community programs.
Eureka Grange No. 62 was organized in 1887. Today there are approximately 80 members from New Hartford and the surrounding area. The group meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays at the Grange Hall, with meetings beginning at 7:30 PM. Grange membership is open to all.
