| AUGUST 15, 2015 -- We had our regular meeting on Wednesday, June 10th. Officers were elected for Oct. 2015 to Sept. 2017. Nancy Mascio remains as our Master.
On June 17th we hosted the Excelsior Pomona meeting at our temporary hall at Saint Mark’s Church. There is still no word on what the town plans to do with our old Grange Hall.
Dorothy Gustafson celebrated her 100th birthday this June. She is doing very well and lives at home with minimal assistance.
We are saddened by the loss of two of our members. Inga Britt Engelbrektsson and Elinor Hurlbut passed in May.
The Bridgewater Grange had a Roast Beef Dinner at Saint Mark’s Church off of Route 133 across from the Bridgewater Grange. The time was 5:30 to 7:30 on Saturday, July 18. The cost was $15.00.
We will have a big presence at the Bridgewater Fair on August 21, 22 and 23 this year. We will be running a farmers market with 6 local farmers selling their produce. The Bridgewater Grange will have a stand and we will be selling tickets and giving information about an upcoming exciting event. We will be sponsoring a Farm to Table Dinner at the pavilion in the Bridgewater Recreation Area on Saturday September 12th. Local farmers will be serving up their special produce for a unique dining experience. Further details will soon be available. |
