| JULY 2, 2015 -- We continue donating to the Oneco family that is in dire straits. Members keep stepping up to the plate with money and food donations. Link Cooper, Jody Cameron and David Griffiths led the 15 member team that diligently worked to provide all of the food at the Plainfield Relay for Life-earning $783.00 that was donated to Relay for Life at the event’s conclusion! The Cameron’s invited us to their new home for our July meeting--bring a pot luck item. The Cameron’s will provide the meat. You can also bring your bathing suit and enjoy their pool. Thanks to the Sebastian family for their generous donation of a chest freezer!
Several new faces in our line officers for the coming year. Bill Sebastian-Vice President; Natasha Ignacia-Steward and Carly Sebastian-Greeter! Jody Cameron is President-elect and Link Cooper will serve as our Program Director! Katie Molodich will now serve on the Executive Board. A date of Sunday, July 19th was set for our Awards Luncheon. Link Cooper and Paulette Craig volunteered to Chair the event. We have 545 years of Grange membership awards to be presented: 5 to 75 years and eleven members being honored! Our July 18th Blueberry Supper will feature stuffed chicken breast and Blueberry Crisp with vanilla ice cream. |
