| JULY 21, 2015 -- Our Flea Market was successful despite our table spaces being down.
We honored Joe Shapanis as our Citizen of the Year with a good number of guests and a talk on Post Roads and Iron Horses by Richard DeLuca.
Eloise Osuch, Rob & Maggie Buck and I went to Nonnewaug Vo-Ag and gave them potato seed and beans for their garden. Produce will go to food banks in the area.
We also had an information table at the Bethlehem Memorial Day Parade.
A memorial service was held for five of our members who passed last year. The graces placed roses on the altar for them.
Save the date: August 16, Sunday, for the Pomona Picnic at noon at the home of Al Maddox. This is a potluck and all are welcome.
