| JUNE 9, 2015 -- At our Annual Baking Contest in April we featured “Strawberry Cupcakes with Strawberry Icing.” Three entries, all from new members, proved to be a real test of the taste-testers’ metal. There was a tie: one group preferred the cake and one group preferred the icing. After a second round, the winner was Laura Clark. Tish Murray came in with a close second and Julia Braden took third place.
Later in April we held “Game Night”, which was open to members, children and the general public. There was a $5 donation to our Campership and Scholarship Funds, and desserts to share.
