Meriden Grange May News Update

By M. Harrison

  MAY 8, 2015 --

Hello Grangers, Happy Spring! I think we all waited a long time to say that. As I write this the daffodils are just starting to break through the soil. In just 3 weeks Meriden will be celebrating the annual Daffodil Festival at Hubbard Park, Meriden is home to over 600,000 daffodils, truly a sight to see!

We had our degrees in April and hope to pass inspection with flying colors. We invite you all to our meetings, they take place on the 2nd & 4th Friday of the month. Our upcomong programs will be: CWA, I Scream,U Scream (should be some tasty treats that night) and Vacation Time.

By the time you get this Granger, my husband will be out rototilling our garden & we will have our yearly debate over what to plant in our little garden. Our fellow Granger, Mike will be planting his beautiful sunflowers next to the Grange. We ask that you keep Diane Clark in our thoughts and we hope to see sister Diane soon.
