| FEBRUARY 8, 2015 -- Happy 2015 Grangers,
We are wishing all a happy & healthy new year. As I write this we have had a mild winter season so far & only one tough driving day. Our neighbor had a driver jump the curb & smash into the stone wall. It was not a large snowfall storm, but the road conditions were not good. Our ecology & safety reporter, Mike told us all about the chemicals that the DOT have put on the roads & all the damage they are causing.
We welcome you to our Feb 13th meeting. Just in time for Valentine’s Day the Program will be Sugar, sugar. We also would like to remind all that the Meriden Grange is celebrating our 130th anniversary on March 27th. Check out our Facebook page for upcoming info. We are planning a supper, hopefully corned beef in March.
Just a reminder for those who find the winter a long,long season, the time between Halloween & Christmas is about 2 months so hopefully the winter will breeze by. |
