Greenfield Hill Grange News for February 2015

By Dennis Rich

  FEBRUARY 6, 2015 --

December was a month for memories.  The last Saturday of November found the future Junior Grangers decorating our hall’s Christmas tree and participating in a cookie baking and decorating session.  Mid-month “Chef Steve,” our Lecturer Steve Golias, had a Hungarian cookie making demo which brought talents and tears as well as strong memories from participants.

Our Christmas party took place on the evening of our regular meeting.  It was complete with light food offerings, carols sung by members which were accompanied by our Secretary on guitar and a guest on the violin!

As with uncertain weather time of year, we suggest those planning to attend, call ahead to one of our officers, or email us at greenfield133@gmail.com to confirm a cheduled date.  As a rule, our regular 3rd Monday meetings are changed the Wednesday following in the event of a storm.

We will have a garden planning focus for our regular meeting.  We are still in need of help with our March 21st Irish Night fundraiser.  All are welcome!
