| SEPTEMBER 7, 2014 -- Instead of the usual hotdog picnic fare we held a spaghetti picnic in July and had a nice group of visitors, which led to a very informal open meeting. Our Garden Art contest was great fun and the winner was Denise Hart. The use of recycled items was used with creative imagination and we all look forward to the next contest which is decorating a squash. This will be judged by members of the 4H group who will be our guests in October. Second place went to Dawn Percoski and yours truly took third place. Our program in October will be about reaching out to other groups with similar community service efforts and exchanging ideas
