On a blistering hot night, Lyme Grange obligated three youngsters Choloe Donihee, Ryley Tefft and David Sanford into the Junior Grange.  It’s a first for Lyme and we are very excited to maybe find enough to form a Junior Grange.  Kathy Tefft is the leader with Kristen Donihee as her assistant leader.

Congratulations are in order for three Lyme Grange members, Billy Fogle, Brianna Landry and Chelsea Evankow.  They graduated from Lyme- Old Lyme High School on June 20.  Also a granddaughter of a member, Samantha Beers graduated on the same night.

Skip Beebe was finally installed on the Executive Committee to fill the chair of Danny Mutchler who resigned.

All in all, it was a busy night.

We are all gearing up for our Lyme Grange Fair a.k.a. as the Hamburg Fair to be held on our fairgrounds Aug. 15-17.  We keep our fingers crossed that mother nature will not send us rain or excessive heat.
