| AUGUST 4, 2014 -- At our June meeting Deborah Barnes was elected Master of New London County Pomona. She and her slate of officers will be installed at North Stonington Grange on Saturday, September 13. we hope you will join us and meet your new officers. Ladies are asked to wear dresses.
August 9 is the date to save for our annual picnic. We will meet at Bluff Point in Groton at 12 P.M. for an afternoon of food, fun and friendship. There will be grills available. Please bring your own meat, liquid refreshment and a dish to share. Bluff point is a beautiful area with walking trails, fishing and swimming if you are so inclined. Hope to see a good crowd there.
It’s time for our picnic so pack up a lunch,
And be sure to include something nice for the bunch.
We’ll eat, then we’ll play, maybe go for a walk,
Or perhaps we’ll just sit and enjoy a good talk.
