August 16 is National Canning Day!! Celebrate by coming to Killingly Grange from 9:30 til 12:00 -- learn to make and process this tasty Tomato Sauce using local tomatoes. Leave with one jar of sauce and one of dill pickles too. Workshop is sponsored by The Killingly Agriculture Commission, Killingly Community Garden and Killingly Grange. Workshop cost only $20/person and includes all materials, supplies and produce. Proceeds to support the Killingly Community Garden. Class limited to 15 participants so reserve your spot early! |
