| MARCH 7, 2014 -- The March meeting of Beacon Valley Grange will be held on the 14th with a program entitled “Maddening March.” Don’t know what that means but we will find out. Hostess for the meeting is Carole Mancini. Come and enjoy her Irish soda bread – it’s delicious. Further plans for our 125th anniversary will be made.
The members of Beacon Valley Grange congratulate and say how proud we are of one of our members Caroline O’Bar. Caroline is a member of the Beacon Falls Police Department. Her quick action saved the life of a man in trouble. The Connecticut State Police recently honored Caroline with a medal for lifesaving. The State Police said the man survived this life-threatening event due to Caroline’s actions. |
