Around The Grange
Enfield Grange News for December

By Irene Percoski

  DECEMBER 1, 2013 --

The fall colors are really spectacular this year, and the back roads and side streets around town are just as pretty as the Mohawk Trail. The only problem of course is that those pretty leaves will fall and need to be raked up. Have to take the bad with the good.

Our mystery ride was postponed in order to finish up the Grange business year. Remember to bring in items for the day care this month. They look forward to our donations every December. Let’s not disappoint them.

On a sad note we lost another granger to the Great Grange in the sky with the passing of Mildred MacKinnon. Millie was one of the most gentle and happy ladies it was my privilege to know. She was our treasurer for many years and later served as one of the Graces. Millie was the one to welcome everyone and make them feel at home. She will be missed very much. She was 101.

Dec. 14:  Jingle Bells

Jan. 11:  Three Cheers for the U.S.A.
