| OCTOBER 4, 2013 -- Deadlines being what they are, you October readers know far more than this report does about what has been happening at Norfield Grange. It is Labor Day here. The 45th Annual Fair hasn’t happened yet, nor the new officers installed. We don’t even know what Fair winner won for “Best Homemade Hooch in Connecticut.”
We do know, though, that under the leadership of Kevin and Marie Parker we enjoyed a wonderful summer picnic with 20 hungry participants. Some of the best customs in the Grange never change.
