| OCTOBER 1, 2013 -- Now that Fall is upon us, we can look back over the summer months which went by quickly as always.
We enjoyed our annual picnic at the Bernhardts on July 17th where we also planned our Grange calendar for the 2013-14 year.
Cheshire Grange was very well represented at the New England Lecturer’s Conference right here in Connecticut at the Albertus Magnus College in New Haven. Connecticut was the host State and Marge Bernhardt handled the proceedings very nicely with an excellent program put on by Connecticut and very informative workshops and great entertainment.
Our annual fair was held on August 24th and 25th and was very successful. Going to the an August date was a good move for us. Our officers were installed on September 4th by State Secretary Edith Schoell and her team, preceeded by a pot luck supper. Many of us will be attending the State Session in October at The Holiday Inn in Norwich.
Plans are underway for our second annual craft show to be held in early December.
