JUNE 2007 -- The National Hosting Committee Roast Beef Dinner on May 20 was a great success due to the tremendous support of everyone who purchased tickets, donated cupcakes, volunteered to work in the kitchen, dining room and sales room upstairs.
We also thank members who donated so many wonderful items for the sales tables. The committee set a goal to reach at least $1,000 in profit. Initial tallies at the end of the day hint at a profit over that goal.
All profits from the dinner will go towards the Connecticut State Grange’s fund to help pay expenses associated with hosting the 2008 National Convention in Cromwell, Connecticut.
