| AUGUST 10, 2013 -- Kenneth "Kenny" E. Herbele, 85, of Manchester and formerly Southwick, MA, passed away at home on August 5, 2013 after a short illness. Born on July 29, 1928, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Rexnord, Inc. in Springfield, MA. He was an elder at Zion Lutheran Church in Manchester and an active member of the Manchester Grange.
He enjoyed traveling, fishing, bowling and NASCAR racing. Ken leaves behind the love of his life, Ruth to whom he was married to for the last 38 years. Ken had 5 children from previous marriages. He will be dearly missed by his devoted daughter, Ann Marie Burke and husband Greg, his "little buddies" Grandsons, Nicholas and Andrew and Ken's sons David and Michael. Ken will also be remembered by Ruth's seven children and 13 grandchildren. Kenny loved all the children and they loved Grandpa, he was always happy and quick with a big smile and silly joke.
