| MAY 7, 2013 -- Higganum Grange #124 opened with inspection and then received two new members at their April Meeting. Mr. Lee Warren and his son, Jessie Warren became members. Higganum Grange welcomes them. Mr. Warren spoke of his trial this winter and spring with his cold plants. It’s been either too cold for anything to grow or its to dry. Hopefully it will start to get warmer and we will receive some of the much needed rain.
The Grange charter was drapped for Faith McKenzie who recently passed away.
It was also noted that Higganum Grange was a charter member of the Higganum Farmers Market which has been in existence for five years now. It is set to open the 1st Friday in June. |
