Winchester Grange 125th Anniversary Celebration April 14
  MARCH 31, 2013 --

On Sunday, April 14th at 2:00 PM, Winchester Grange will honor their milestone 125th Anniversary with a free community Open House Celebration.  The celebration will be held at Winchester Grange Hall, 100 Newfield Road, Winchester Center.

A special program highlighting the history of the organization is planned, along with musical entertainment and special community award recognitions.

Along with the Open House, Winchester Grange will release its 125th Anniversary Commemorative Recipe Book filled with family recipes and photos from the Grange's history.

Formed January 2, 1888 by Tunis Goodenough along with 30 dedicated men and women, Winchester Grange has had a continual impact on the community. From providing a home base for the local post office and volunteer Fire Department to numerous community service endeavors, the organization is a cornerstone of Winchester Center and its surrounding communities.

Today, Winchester Grange is one of the largest Community Granges east of the Mississippi River in membership, and is extremely active in the Winchester Center community, sponsoring numerous programs, activities and events year-round.
