| SEPTEMBER 7, 2012 -- Simsbury Grange No. 197 will host an agricultural fair Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the grange grounds, 236 Farms Village Road, Route 309, West Simsbury.
The fair will feature exhibits from local farms and organizations, as well as a bake and craft sale, kid’s activities and contests with ribbons and cash prizes, according to the grange website.
Earlier this summer, Sue Masino addressed the Board of Selectmen about fundraising events that were planned for the grange. At that time, the board thanked Masino for efforts underway to revive the grange and attract new memberships.
