Simsbury Grange Fair Entry Deadline Extended
  SEPTEMBER 10, 2012 --

It was announced today that the deadline for submitting entry forms for the Simsbury Grange Fair has been extended to the morning of the Fair, Saturday, September 15th.  Entries must be submitted prior to the Fair opening at 10:00 AM.

Entries will be accepted via their online entry form. Those wishing to participate can now submit their entries online by going to http://www.simsburygrange.org/simsburyfairentry.asp. Fair Entry Brochures are available at the Simsbury Town Hall, Flamig Farm, the Senior Center, and the Simsbury Library or as a download athttp://www.simsburygrange.org

The community is invited to participate. Join us as an exhibitor and/or as an entrant into one of our many categories:

Exhibits: (Limited table spaces are available)
Non-profit – no charge ($20 requested if selling items); Others - $20

Contests with ribbons and cash prizes (free to enter):

Adults:
• Fruits and vegetables
• Home Arts – quilting, sewing, knitting
• Baked goods
• Flowers and Plants

Children:
• Fruits and vegetables
• Lego creations
• Baked goods

Simsbury Grange will host its annual Agricultural Fair on Saturday, September 15th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The fair will feature a bake and craft sale, exhibits from local organizations and farms, local celebrities, free hayrides, bluegrass music, Monarch butterfly and native plant exhibit, kids’ activities, and contests with ribbons and cash prizes in several categories.
