Eureka Grange to host 39th Annual Fair Sept. 16th

The community is invited to show their best vegetables, baked goods and handiwork at the Eureka Grange 39th Annual Agricultural and Homemaker's Fair to be held on September 16th, as part of New Hartford Day at Brodie Park.  The Grange Fair will run from 10 AM - 3 PM.

The event is free, as is parking.  Brodie Park is located at 580 West Hill Lake, New Hartford, CT 06057.

The Fair will feature competitions in vegetables and herbs, bread and pastry, needlework and sewing, photography, flowers, and canning.  There are also contests for children.  All exhibitors must present their entries by 9 AM the morning of the Fair. You do not have to be a Grange member to enter. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded.

Eureka Grange No. 62 was organized in 1887.  Today there are approximately 80 members from New Hartford and the surrounding area.  The group meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays at the Grange Hall, with meetings beginning at 7:30 PM.  Grange membership is open to all.
