| JULY 16, 2012 -- Our Degrees were a success, and we are happy to welcome two lovely young ladies from Lyme Grange to our Pomona. Pomona’s court was beautiful, and our officers recieved praise from Deputy East Jim Palmer, for their ritual work.
The New London County annual picnic will be held at Bluff Point in Groton. We were supposed to go their last year, but Hurricane Irene had other ideas, so we thought we’d try again. There are grills, picnic tables and lots of shade trees available. Please bring your own food, drinks and utensils. If you want to bring a dish to share I’m sure it will be appreciated. Debbie has a new game called Flickin’ Chicken for us to play. There are trails for walking and the birding is said to be excellent, so bring your binoculars.
The summer is here and we’re filled with good cheer,
‘fore long it will be picnic day.
We’ll all get together (Let’s hope for good weather),
And go out to Bluff Point and play.
