Taghhannuck Grange to host Rummage/Plant Sale 6/16

By Barbara Prindle

  JUNE 7, 2012 --

Taghhannuck Grange is hosting their annual Rummage and Plant Sale on Saturday, June 16th at the Grange Hall which is between Sharon and Cornwall Bridge, off Route 4 behind Ellsworth Hill Farm.  The sale will be held between the hours of 9am and 2pm.

The members of Taghhannuck Grange want to thank all the generous people who have donated to our rummage sale each year.  We are especially grateful for the donation of the vegetable and flower plants again this year.  This is our biggest fund raiser for the year.

Grange members will be at the Grange Hall to collect donations:  Monday, June 11th, Tuesday the 12th and Wednesday the 13th from 10am to noon.

All the furniture, china, glassware, jewelry, toys, clothing and more will enable the Grange to continue with its community service projects including the Dictionary Project for the towns of Sharon, Cornwall and Warren and new this year the vegetable garden at Stonewall Farm in Cornwall with fresh veggies and flowers going to local food banks and pantries.

As you know if you have been to our sale previously, the prices are very low and the Grange Hall is historic.  If you have any questions you may call Barbara Prindle at 860-364-5373 or e-mail taghhannuck@ctstategrange.org.
