Around The Grange
Bridgewater Grange News for June

By Dean Perry

  JUNE 7, 2012 --

On April 24 we had a spring clean-up of our Grange Hall.  It made the place a lot brighter!  Then, on April 27 we had a potluck dinner and Community Service Award.  Over thirty people attended and the food was delicious.

Debbie Kuchinski was given an award for her work with the seniors in the town as well as giving people help that have had cancer strike their family.  Peter Orenski “The Flagman” of New Milford gave a humorous talk about his work and his life in general.

Our meetings are the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 P.M. from April to November at the Grange Hall off the Bridgewater Town Green.  We meet on the first Wednesday in December there.  The Hall is closed from the second week of December until April.  All our meetings are in members’ homes during the winter.  All winter meetings are on the second Sunday in the afternoon.

Our biggest events and best attended are the Roast Beef Dinners.  We have two in the Spring and two in the fall.

June 9, Sept. 8,  & Oct. 13:  (Saturdays) Roast Beef Dinners, 5:30, Bridgewater Grange Hall
