Cheshire Grange will hold its annual Awards Night on Wed. May 2nd at 7:30 PM at the Grange Hall, 44 Wallingford Road, Cheshire. Robert de Jongh will be recognized and awarded the Grange Community Citizen of the Year Award.  

This event is open to the public and the community is invited and welcome to attend.  A Tea Cup Auction will also be held, and refreshments will be served.

Robert de Jongh was recently recognized by Connecticut Magazine as one of the top wealth advisors in Connecticut. He is the founder of NEi Financial, LLC specializing in Wealth Accumulation, Retirement Income Planning and Business Continuation Planning.  de Jongh is active in the local Cheshire community, which includes such posts as past President of the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, a longtime member and currently Chairman of the Cheshire Inlands and Wetlands Commission, and a liaison to the Cheshire Economic Development Council.

The Community Citizen of the Year award is given annually by Cheshire Grange for exemplary volunteer efforts demonstrating leadership and citizenship by providing service that positively impacts Cheshire and surrounding communities.
