| FEBRUARY 7, 2012 -- M. Ross Stands has been appointed vice president at Liberty Bank, responsible for the Waterford branch office.
Stands, an Uncasville resident, joined Liberty from Citizens Bank where he served in various positions of increasing authority since his hire in 1993, and ending as assistant vice president of the bank's East Lyme location. He has 26 years of banking experience in Connecticut's southeastern market, primarily in retail.
Stands is a graduate of the University of New Haven with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Stands is President of the Old Lyme Grange and also serves as the financial secretary for the Knights of Columbus. |
