Around The Grange
Mountain County Pomona February Musings

By Todd Gelineau

  FEBRUARY 10, 2012 --

The next meeting of Mountain County Pomona No. 4 will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at 7:30 P.M. at Eureka Grange Hall.  The meeting notices sent out by the Worthy Secretary show the program to be School of Instruction by the State Master and General Deputy.  Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, this School of Instruction will be postponed to a later date.  Instead, Lecturer Sue Addison will present a program on “New Loves.”

Watch the Granger for the new date of the School of Instruction.  Instead of two separate dates the schools will be combined into one meeting.  We encourage ALL members to attend the school when it is announced.  The opening and closing of the Grange (in the Fourth Degree) will be covered in detail and will give members the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about Grange work.  As the next two meetings of Pomona will be the Day Meeting in March and the Degree Meeting in May, the new date will likely be either on a Friday evening or on a Saturday.  We’ll keep you posted!

Mountain County Pomona welcomes the members of Cawasa Grange No. 34 BACK to Mountain County.  Prior to the formation of Farmington Valley Pomona, Cawasa was part of this Pomona and for many, many years afterwards there were members of Cawasa who retained membership in Mt. County.  Welcome home!

Feb. 13:  New Loves, Eureka Grange, 7:30 P.M.
