| JANUARY 4, 2012 -- The usual group met on the 4th Saturday of the month for an evening of “setback.” It’s always an enjoyable evening and everyone is welcome to attend.
A square dance series was held the 4th Friday of each month thru October. It will resume again in January.
Several Grange members did volunteer work at the Granby Blood Drive. They registered donors and served drinks and snacks.
On 11/11/11 a combination Veterans/Thanksgiving potluck dinner was attended by 32 members, family, and friends. It was delicious dinner and a lovely ceremony remembering our vets. Several members attended the Conn. Assoc. of Fairs annual dinner in Terryville, CT. Grange member Carol Innes placed 3rd in the apple pie baking contest.
December featured a Christmas potluck dinner and annual party for members, family, and friends. Food galore, tree decorating, singing Christmas Carols, and a friendly sociable time. January will feature planning for the Leap Year ahead. |
