| AUGUST 19, 2011 -- Harmony Grange No. 92 will hold its Agricultural Fair on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 2 Shelton Road (corner of Routes 110 and 111).
The annual event is open to all Monroe residents and features small animals, homegrown vegetables, flowers, home-canned goods, jams and jellies, and decorated cakes. There will also be needlework, woodcrafts, and photography items. Judging will begin at 10 a.m.
The grange is a civic organization that supports farming and natural living. It has been in Monroe in the same building since 1935; call 203-929-3171. |
