| OCTOBER 10, 2010 -- Fall is here already!! Where did the Summer go??
We are busy planning our 125th Anniversary of Cawasa Grange #34 for October 16th. We decided since we only have 8 active members, to have a nice luncheon for our Grange Members. Most are away from CT and cannot make it. We will have a nice luncheon and view pictures of the past. Also Sister Lin will call our 1st Selectman and see if he can make October 16th Cawasa Grange Day, and we will have a nice article in the local paper.
Our September meeting was very long, since we did not meet in June and July, we had a lot of correspondence, bills, etc.
We are staring a new community project that Sister Judy Lockwood mentioned at our Sept meeting: we are going to provide once a month baked goods for the Food Bank. Sister Judy works there now helping them. We hope to use the Communtiy Center kitchen and all 8 of us will go there and Bake something nice and bring it the next day to the Food Bank. We are all excited about this project. |
