JANUARY 7, 2011 -- To the many friends of Litchfield Grange #107 who contributed to a most rewarding year, it is with great appreciation for your participation on our many projects that we start this letter.
We start with Above all Heating for keeping our furnaces going to keep us warm; to Rick Evangelist for keeping our lights going; for our regular renters, the Lions Club and Amy of Kindermusic for their continued support and for the many people who rent our hall for various reasons for keeping us financial viable; to our neighbors NAPA and Litchfield Ford for the many things they do for us: to Ruell Miller with Grange insurance; to Big Value, the owners and staff, and customers for allowing and supporting our selling of tickets in front of their store and the store and for supplying us with staples when we have an event; to Dick and Liz Dauphinais for supplying us with apples and baking for our bake sales; to John Mckenna for publicity during the year; to the members of Whigville (Burlington) Grange for their unending support all during the year and also the Bethlehem Grange; to our members who help at every event including selling hotdogs, baking apple pies and cookies, and working on our special events and for being able to honor one of our members foe being a member for 75 years.
We were again able to have our Citizen of the Year Award, this year to Dick Dauphinais, to sent two children to Camp Berger, to give a stipend to a senior at Wamogo, and to hold our annual fair as well as hold a Thanksgiving pie sale and a Christmas cookie walk.
We thank you all and wish you a Happy New Year.
