| NOVEMBER 13, 2010 -- Litchfield Grange members are holding their annual Thanksgiving Pie sale at the Grange Hall at 435 Bantam Road on Wednesday, November 24, from noon to 3:00 PM. Pies, which are made by the members of the Grange, will include apple, pumpkin, and a limited number of blueberry and pecan pies.
Prices for the pies are $12 for apple, pumpkin, blueberry and $14 for pecan.
Orders may be made by phoning Janet Healy at 489-4396 to be picked up on November 24. There should also be some pies available on that day.
The proceeds of the pie sale will be used to help defray the amount owed on new windows and to support the Grange’s ongoing projects of sending children to Camp Berger in Winchester and giving a stipend to a senior in the agricultural program at Wamogo. |
