Brooklyn Ag Days has something for everyone

Brooklyn Ag Days is an agricultural event which will be held on June 5th and 6th at the Brooklyn Fair Grounds located on Route 169 in Brooklyn, Connecticut. The gates open at 7am and events start at 9am on both days. Admission is $5.00 per person and children under 12 are free. There is no charge for parking.

Special events on Saturday are: antique tractor pulls, 4x4 truck pulls, horse show, gymkahana show, ox pull and a pedal tractor pull for children 3 to 7 years of age. Also, a chicken BBQ will be held at 5pm. Chicken BBQ tickets must be purchased during the Ag Days event and the cost is $9.00 per ticket. Your ticket includes chicken, baked potato, corn, roll, a drink and dessert. Sunday events includ a draft horse pull, lawnmower races, garden tractor pull and a draft horse show.

Events happening on both Saturday and Sunday are the antique tractor and engine shows, swap meet, antique farm equipment and working exhibits, as well as crafts, activities for children and a basket raffle. The basket raffle will be drawn on Sunday, June 6th. It is not necessary to be present to win.
