Oct. 21: Omitted-State Grange
Our 141st Cheshire Grange Community Fair is history. Lots of work for all and a lot of post fair paperwork to finish up.
We are looking forward to the new Grange year. Diane and Dave Calabro have been very much involved in making improvements to our hall and grounds.
At our Installation of Officers program recently, Jane Miller was installed as a member of our Executive Committee for a three year term.
In early October we will be offering our hall to the Cheshire Historical Society for their presentation of “Spirits Alive” They will be conducting tours of the cemetery with onsite presentations and using our hall for costume changes and food for the players taking part. The hall will be a holding tank for the public coming and finishing the cemetary tours.
This fall we hope to be having a fund raising dinner for local hiking club which we have been dong for many years.
Several of our members will be attending the State Grange Annual Session in Norwich, CT.
