| JULY 7, 2026 -- We are looking forward to a great summer season here in Whigville.
After a very successful 2024-2025 fundraising campaign to install a new HV/AC system we are now embarking on our next Fundraising Campaign to tackle another major renovation: Replacing our building’s roof.
We continue to sponsor our Family Game Nights. They have proven to be a popular event within our community. It is a joy to see young adults interacting with older members and enjoying a simple evening together. We always welcome new participation. If you enjoy playing cards, Uno, board games or bingo, be sure to check us out. Snacks, ice cream and drinks are available for purchase. We’d love to welcome new Grangers from around the area.
Games nights are 6-9 pm on the following dates: Wednesday, July 8 and 22; Wednesday, August 12 and
26 Saturday, July 18 is the Whigville Music Fest from 2-8pm Come celebrate summer vibes with us. This is our second year sponsoring a music event. Whigville Music Festival is a celebration of many genres of music. The day will feature multi band performances together with local crafters, food, and activities for the kids. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Our annual Grange Fair will be held from 10:00 – 2:00 on Saturday, August 22. The fair will feature a way to “show off” your home- grown vegetables and flowers, jams, pickles, baked goods, crafts, paintings, etc. Adults as well as kids are encouraged to enter their creations. What a great way to share your talents!! Free parking and admission, entertainment, food, teacup auction, children’s activities, and more. For more information please email Sue: slfk@msn.com.
As always, we continue to collect new and gently used clothing, towels and wash cloths for two local shelters.
