National Grange Lecturer Pete Pompper has chosen April 20, 2013 as Grange Heritage Day? He encourages all Grange members to gather and celebrate the history, tradition and continued success of the Grange as a positive force in communities and individuals' lives.

Take-outs will be available. The Grange will be serving string beans, mashed potatoes, roast pork with apple sauce, Cindy's famous coleslaw, and dessert.

Participants are invited to bring a blanket or chair and buy lunch from one of the Indoor Farmers' Market’s vendors: Billy’s Southern BBQ, Carrot Top Country Kitchen, Paradise Foods, Simply Delicious, Pemaquid Seafood, and more. After the picnic there will be guided walks to the Katherine Ordway Preserve on Goodhill Road.

The market features the sale of farm fresh seasonal produce and herbs, jams, jellies, honey, maple syrup, cheese and yogurt, eggs, baked goods and more.

The Caller is Bob Livingston and the music is by Still The Home Grown Band. A free will contribution will be collected at the door and refreshments will be served. Everyone from novice to expert is welcome.

Guests will include Spotty Dog Rescue, Friends of Feral Cats of Cheshire, Wolcott Vet, Hillside Equestrian Meadows and Kensington Bird Hospital. There will be horse-and-carriage rides and a pot-luck lunch held at noon.
